Judith Pascoe

Judith Pascoe is the George Mills Harper Professor of English at Florida State University. Her research focuses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, collecting practices, voice recording history, and digital humanities. She has directed a NEH-funded initiative integrating rhetorical training with digital literacy for humanities Ph.D. students. Pascoe holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. from Syracuse University, and a B.S. from Duke University.

Her work spans scholarly monographs like Romantic Theatricality and The Hummingbird Cabinet, as well as award-winning studies such as The Sarah Siddons Audio Files and On the Bullet Train with Emily Brontë. These works explore intersections of literature with performance, material culture, and cross-cultural reception. Pascoe's research has been supported by prestigious fellowships including the Guggenheim and Fulbright programs.
