Judith Ologi is a PhD Research Fellow in Teacher Education and Pedagogy at NLA University College, Bergen, actively contributing to kindergarten teacher education while pursuing doctoral studies. Research Interests: Judith's scholarship centers on early childhood education with specialized focus on inclusion/diversity and language education in multilingual settings. Her work examines mother tongue pedagogy, bilingual education challenges (particularly in Kenyan contexts), and English/Norwegian as second languages through phenomenological frameworks (Van Manen). She investigates pedagogical leadership in kindergartens, transition processes to primary school, and child participation dynamics.
Teaching and Professional Engagement: Since 2019, Judith has taught in NLA's kindergarten teacher education program covering Language/Text/Mathematics (STM) and Leadership/Cooperation/Development (LSU). She served as course responsible for Pedagogical Leadership in Early Childhood Education (2020-2022) and coordinated the REKOMP project with 8 kindergartens for competence development (2019-2022). Previously, she worked as a pedagogical specialist at Den Internasjonale Barnehagen in Bergen (2014-2019) and taught English/literature at Segero Kristent Videregående skole in Kenya (2007-2009).
