Judith Levy

Judith (Judie) Levy is a Senior Lecturer and Core Co-Director in the Core Studies department at Oglethorpe University. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Emory University (2020), along with B.A. and M.A. in English from California State University, Fullerton, and a Teaching Writing Certificate. Her academic roles include directing Oglethorpe's interdisciplinary Core program, overseeing curriculum, staffing, and cross-campus collaboration. She has also served as Director of Communications for the Virginia Highland District Association (2020-2023), growing their social media from 500 to 10k followers and managing major events like Porchfest.
