Dr. Judith Aponte, PhD, RN, CDCES, CCM, PHNA-BC, FAAN is a tenured Associate Professor and Specialty Director of the Community/Public Health Nursing Program at Hunter College's School of Nursing, City University of New York (CUNY). As the first Hispanic graduate of Columbia University’s Nursing PhD program (2004), she combines clinical expertise with academic leadership in diabetes research targeting Hispanic populations.
