Judith Ackermann

Prof. Dr. Judith Ackermann is a Research Professor for Digital Media and Performance in Social Work at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. She leads the Digital Participation and Inclusion Lab (dpi-Lab) and focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of digital technologies, social work, and educational science.

• Education: PhD in Media Science (University of Bonn), with studies in Media Science, Computational Linguistics, Psychology, and Acting.
• Research Interests: Digital media, hybrid realities, gaming, theatre performance, and postdigital art practices in cultural education.
