About
Judith A Rosentreter is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Southern Cross University, specializing in biogeochemistry of coastal ecosystems.
Education:
- DipBiol
- PhD (Southern Cross University)
Her research focuses on greenhouse gas emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O), carbon and nitrogen cycling in coastal wetlands and blue carbon ecosystems. She investigates human impacts on land-ocean carbon fluxes and assesses the potential of blue carbon for climate change mitigation. Current projects include quantifying gas fluxes and transfer velocities at water-air interfaces.
Dr. Rosentreter supervises higher degree research students and is active in securing research grants for her projects.
