Judith A Rosentreter

Judith A Rosentreter is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Southern Cross University, specializing in biogeochemistry of coastal ecosystems.

Her research focuses on greenhouse gas emissions (CO₂, CH₄, N₂O), carbon and nitrogen cycling in coastal wetlands and blue carbon ecosystems. She investigates human impacts on land-ocean carbon fluxes and assesses the potential of blue carbon for climate change mitigation. Current projects include quantifying gas fluxes and transfer velocities at water-air interfaces.

Dr. Rosentreter supervises higher degree research students and is active in securing research grants for her projects.
