Dr. Judith 't Gilde is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences and affiliated with the LEARN! - Learning Sciences group at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her research focuses on acculturation processes in educational settings, particularly for ethnic minority students in superdiverse primary schools. She investigates how teachers can leverage students' cultural and social resources ('funds of knowledge') to improve educational outcomes and foster inclusive classroom environments.
