Dr. Jude Austin is an Associate Professor and IRB Chairperson at the Mayborn College of Health Sciences, University of Mary Hardin Baylor. He holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Wyoming, alongside professional licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). His research focuses on enhancing therapeutic presence in counselor education through pedagogical innovation, and he co-authored three key books on counseling practice and education.
