Juana Fernandez Lopez

Juana Fernandez Lopez serves as a Professor in the Department of Agro-Food Technology at Miguel Hernández University of Elche, actively teaching across Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs including Agro-Food Engineering, Food Science, and Agricultural Engineering. Her office is located in the Agro-Food Technology building at the Orihuela campus (Carretera de Beniel, km 3.2).

Her research centers on food technology applications with specialization in physico-chemical food properties, industrial food processing, and dietary fiber enrichment. As a member of the Industrialization of Animal Raw Materials research group, she focuses on transforming animal by-products into value-added food resources. Current teaching responsibilities include coordinating Food Industries (Bachelor's), Physico-chemical Properties of Food, Agro-Food Industries (Master's), and Production of Foods Enriched in Dietary Fiber.

Professor Fernandez Lopez coordinates the Doctorate in Agricultural, Agro-Environmental and Food Resources and Technologies program and maintains regular office hours Tuesday 12:30–14:30, Monday 09:00–11:00, and Wednesday 10:00–12:00. She is affiliated with the University Institute for Agro-food and Agro-environmental Research and Innovation (CIAGRO), with research operations based in Orihuela, Alicante.
