João Pinto is Associate Professor of Finance at Católica Porto Business School and Vice-President of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where he also serves as Researcher at the Research Center in Management and Economics (CEGE). He holds a PhD in Business and Management Studies (Finance) from University of Porto and was visiting scholar at University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business.
His research covers corporate financing decisions, structured finance instruments, bond pricing dynamics, sustainable finance innovations, and the impact of central bank policies on capital markets. His recent work focuses particularly on comparative analyses of financing structures and sustainability-linked instruments.
