José Bonet Solves is a Full Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, and a Full Member of the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (Madrid). He served as Director of the Instituto Universitario de Matemática Pura y Aplicada (UPV) from 2004 to 2016 and as President of the Exact Sciences Section of the Royal Academy from 2018 to 2024.
- Research Focus: Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, Complex Analysis, and applications to Linear Partial Differential Operators. His work explores Fréchet spaces, spaces of analytic and quasianalytic functions, and operators between these spaces.
