Joshua Villarreal

Joshua Villarreal serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy and holds a dual role as Lead Clinical Educator for University of Washington Medicine’s Department of Pharmacy. He coordinates pharmacy preceptors and faculty to cultivate student excellence across diverse clinical training environments.

His educational background includes a PharmD from the University of Arizona and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington. Prior professional experience encompasses a PGY1 Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by multifaceted practice roles: inpatient general medicine pharmacist, ambulatory care cardiology specialist, Tribal Medicine specialist with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, and emergency medicine pharmacist at UW Medical Center.
