Joshua Rosenstock

Joshua Rosenstock is a Professor of Interactive Media & Game Development and Humanities & Arts at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He holds an AB from Brown University and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Rosenstock pioneered WPI's studio art program and has been instrumental in developing its IMGD program since 2005. His work bridges art, technology, and education through interactive installations, wearable electronics, and experimental music/video interfaces.

Research focuses include:

• Interactive museum exhibits and public art installations
• Generative art combining electronics and organic materials
• Wearable computing systems that merge fashion with sound art

His exhibitions include works at the Peabody Essex Museum and Brown University's Granoff Center. Notable projects like the 'Nomadic Remix Jacket' and 'Fermentophone' explore intersections between biotechnology and interactive media. Rosenstock has advised numerous student projects featured at institutions like the Boston Museum of Science.
