Joshua Eckblad

Dr. Joshua Eckblad is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), specializing in strategy and entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD from Tilburg University (2022) focusing on startup investment strategies. His research emphasizes corporate-startup relationships, innovation management, and creativity education. He leads the Corporate Venturing Research Group and has published four key reports on corporate venturing trends, InsurTech, and innovation strategies.

Teaching includes courses on corporate entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurship fundamentals. Recognized with awards for teaching excellence (2021) and innovation (2019). Former high-tech entrepreneur with 15 years of startup experience in AI-driven ventures. Active in organizing academic-industry events like the Corporate Venturing & Entrepreneurship Summit (2020).
