Dr. Joshua Armstrong is an Assistant Professor at Lakehead University, focusing on advancing injury and disability prevention in occupational settings. He completed his PhD in 2013 at the University of Waterloo’s School of Public Health and Health Systems, followed by postdoctoral fellowships with the Geriatric Medicine Research group at Dalhousie University, supported by the Alzheimer Society of Canada and the Canadian Consortium for Neurodegeneration in Aging. His work emphasizes quantitative data analysis and interdisciplinary research spanning epidemiology, gerontology, and population health.
