Joshua Adams

Dr. Joshua P. Adams is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at Louisiana Tech University's College of Applied & Natural Sciences. He currently serves as Interim Director of the School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry. His professional involvement includes committee memberships with the Southern Hardwoods Research Council, Southern Forest Tree Improvement Conference, and Biennial Southern Silviculture Research Conference.

Dr. Adams specializes in quantitative and molecular forest genetics and tree breeding. His research focuses on genetic improvement of hardwood species, forest management strategies, and silvicultural practices. He actively contributes to academic leadership through interim administrative roles and professional conference participation.
