Josh Knox, PA-C, M.Ed., is a Clinical Professor and Department Chair at Marquette University's Department of Physician Assistant Studies. He also serves as the Assistant Director of Curriculum and practices emergency medicine part-time while working at the Marquette Student Health Clinic. Previously, he practiced gastroenterology and hepatology at Froedtert Hospital until 2009.

Mr. Knox's clinical expertise spans gastroenterology, hepatology, emergency medicine, public health, and evidence-based medicine. His educational research focuses on sociocultural learning theory, Jesuit pedagogy, curricular development, health literacy, and simulation in healthcare education. He has contributed to quality improvement in assessment and postgraduate PA education.

Josh serves as a grant reviewer for HRSA educational training grants and facilitates the National Health Service Corps program. He actively contributes to social justice initiatives, volunteer work with victims of violence, persons experiencing homelessness, global health, and food insecurity organizations. He has represented the PA program on the President’s Task Force on Equity and Inclusion and currently sits on the University Health Care Task Force.
