Josh Baker

Josh Baker serves as a Lecturer in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL), teaching specialized courses in cybersecurity, networking, and computer forensics.

His academic credentials include:

• M.S. in Computer Information Technology from University of Houston-Clear Lake
• B.A. in English from University of Texas at Austin

Dr. Baker's expertise spans cybersecurity implementation, network design, and digital forensics, informed by extensive industry experience at organizations including 3Com, SM&R, Apple, and UTMB. His teaching focuses on practical applications through courses such as Forensic Fundamentals, Cyber-Security 1, Networking Fundamentals, and Computer Forensics. This practitioner-to-educator transition enables him to bridge theoretical concepts with real-world security challenges.
