Josephine Knight holds the Alfredo Piatti Chair of Cello at the Royal Academy of Music. An acclaimed soloist and chamber musician with 25+ year career, she performs globally and has recorded for EMI, Chandos and Deutsche Grammophon.
Her pedagogical lineage includes studies with Aldo Parisot (Juilliard) and Mischa Maisky. She published the first edition of Schumann's Cello Concerto (Concertstück) through Edition Peters.
