Josephine Chu Ferreon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Baylor College of Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed postdoctoral training at The Scripps Research Institute.
Her research program focuses on:
- Protein intrinsic disorder and allosteric regulation
- NMR spectroscopy of protein interactions
- Post-translational modifications in signaling
- Molecular mechanisms in viral oncology
Dr. Ferreon has received several prestigious fellowships including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Special Fellowship. Her work combines biophysical approaches with structural biology to understand molecular mechanisms in cancer and cellular regulation.
