Joseph Shaeiwitz

Joseph Shaeiwitz is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Auburn University's College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.

His research focuses on chemical engineering education and pedagogical innovations, as evidenced by his receipt of the Donald Woods Lifetime Award for Lifetime Achievement in Chemical Engineering Pedagogy from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). He has also been recognized as a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).
