Joseph R. Laracy

Rev. Joseph R. Laracy, S.T.D., is an Associate Professor and Chair of Systematic Theology at the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology at Seton Hall University. He is also affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Department of Catholic Studies, the University Core Curriculum, and the University Honors Program. His research bridges the Catholic Intellectual Tradition with disciplines like cybernetics, machine learning, software engineering, and theology of creation.

His theological work focuses on the intersection of faith and reason, particularly in dialogue with mathematical logic, cosmology, cybernetics, and medicine. He teaches courses such as Creation and Science (cross-listed with Catholic Studies and the Core Curriculum) and Dynamical Systems Theory.
