Joseph R. Betancourt

Joseph R. Betancourt serves as President of the Commonwealth Fund and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, recognized nationally for advancing healthcare equity and quality. Previously, he held leadership roles at Massachusetts General Hospital including Senior Vice President for Equity and Community Health, overseeing diversity initiatives and centers focused on disparities solutions, immigrant health, and gun violence prevention.
