Joseph Pierce

Joseph Pierce is a Distinguished Fellow at the Fels Institute of Government, University of Pennsylvania, and currently serves as State Director for U.S. Senator John Fetterman. With over 15 years in government relations and political strategy, he previously managed Senator John Fetterman’s 2022 campaign, led government relations for Mental Health Partnerships, and served as political director for U.S. Senator Bob Casey’s 2018 re-election. His career includes roles in labor advocacy with AFSCME and SEIU 32BJ, and campaign management for Philadelphia City Councilmember Derek Green.
