Joseph Jackson, MD, serves as Associate Dean and Director of the Office of Student Affairs at Duke University School of Medicine. He is also a Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health within the Department of Pediatrics, where he focuses on education leadership, professional identity formation, and relational learning opportunities.

Dr. Jackson specializes in Health Professions Education and Professional Identity Formation, with research interests in how belonging, shame, and developmental progress intersect in medical learners and patients.
