Joseph Galbo is a Professor of Sociology at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, Canada. He holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Brooklyn College (City University of New York), and an MA and PhD in Sociology from York University (Toronto). As a scholar, he focuses on interdisciplinary research intersecting media studies, cultural geography, film theory, and political sociology. His current roles include Director of the Master of Interdisciplinary Studies program and Undergraduate Advisor/Coordinator for Sociology.
