Joseph D. Brown

Dr. Joseph D. Brown serves as the Dean of the Frank S. Groner School of Professional Studies at East Texas Baptist University and is a Professor of Kinesiology. His academic leadership spans administrative and teaching roles, focusing on exercise physiology and sports science education.

Dr. Brown’s research interests center on exercise physiology, motor learning, and human performance metrics. At the undergraduate level, he teaches courses in Evaluation in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology, while offering graduate instruction in Principles of Advanced Human Performance, Motor Learning and Control, and Measurement and Evaluation in Sports and Exercise Settings.

As Dean, he oversees academic programs within the School of Professional Studies, integrating his expertise in kinesiology with institutional leadership.
