Joseph Brooks

Dr. Joseph Brooks is Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Dean of Research for Natural Sciences at Keele University. He directs the Brooks Perception Lab, studying visual perception and attention.

His research uses EEG, TMS, and psychophysics to examine perceptual organization and ambiguous image processing. Current projects investigate brain oscillations during perceptual reversals and develop data-driven EEG analysis methods.

As Research Dean, he oversees faculty research strategy and supports interdisciplinary collaborations in cognitive neuroscience.
