Joseph Bateman

Professor Joseph Bateman holds the title of Professor of Molecular Neuroscience at King's College London, affiliated with the Department of Basic and Clinical Neuroscience and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. His research focuses on understanding neuronal function and development through the study of key pathways and genes involved in neurological diseases. Two primary research areas include mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases and mTOR signaling's role in epilepsy.
