Jose Santos

Jose Santos is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Information Science & Technology (IS&T), University of Nebraska at Omaha. He holds a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering Technology (1998), dual B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Mathematics (2012), and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (2020) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research focuses on biomedical signal compression, IoT, machine learning, and GPU computing. He has contributed to the CEENBoT-API, a robotics platform for STEM education.

Teaching & Service: Teaches systems-based courses including C programming, Digital Design, and Computer Architectures. Serves on the CS Undergraduate Program Committee (UPC) since 2020.
