Dr. José Iria is a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Australian National University's College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics. He holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems (University of Porto, 2019) and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2011). His expertise spans power systems optimization, electricity markets, and distributed energy resources. He has led over 21 international R&D projects, securing €10M in funding. His research focuses on smart grids, renewable integration, and climate change impacts on energy systems.
