Jordan Marsh

Mr Jordan Marsh is a Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews, affiliated with the School of Medicine's Cellular Medicine Division. His work focuses on investigating how magnesium deficiency in type I diabetes impacts thrombotic risk through collaborative research projects.

Education: PhD in Medicine (School of Medicine, University of St Andrews) and PhD in Cellular Medicine (Cellular Medicine Division, University of St Andrews).

Research interests include diabetes complications, metabolic factors influencing thrombosis, and biomaterial-induced hypersensitivity reactions. His publications address hip implant-related hypersensitivity and the interplay between fatty acids and zinc in metabolic disorders.

He contributes to Sustainable Development Goals through medical research aimed at improving health outcomes. Currently part of the Stewart research group, his work emphasizes translational research in clinical and metabolic medicine.
