Dr. Jordan Hyatt is Associate Professor of Criminology and Justice Studies at Drexel University, where he also directs the Center for Public Policy. He holds a PhD from University of Pennsylvania and JD from Villanova Law School. His research focuses on evidence-based criminal justice interventions through randomized experiments.
His extensive scholarship examines prison reform, re-entry programs, and drug treatment interventions with emphasis on Scandinavian models, parole efficacy, monetary sanctions, and field research methodologies. Recent work highlights dignity-based reforms, pandemic impacts on corrections, and therapeutic approaches for high-risk populations.
