Jordan Biro Walters

Jordan Biro Walters is an Associate Professor of History at the College of Wooster, specializing in queer history, American citizenship, and public history practices. His research explores the intersections of race, heteronormativity, and mobility in shaping queer identities.

His work bridges academic and community-based projects, including digital initiatives, oral histories, and the Bennett Hammer LGBT Collection.

Recent publications focus on LGBTQ+ experiences in the U.S. Southwest, with a 2023 monograph and peer-reviewed articles on Navajo artists, sexual revolutions, and pedagogy.
