Dr Jonne Rodenburg serves as Professor of Agronomy at the University of Greenwich within the Faculty of Engineering and Science, joining in January 2018 after 13 years at CGIAR's Africa Rice Center across multiple African nations including Mali, Benin, Senegal, Tanzania, and Côte d'Ivoire.

Research Focus: His work centers on weed management in rice systems, specializing in parasitic weeds (Striga hermonthica, Striga asiatica, Rhamphicarpa fistulosa).
