Jonghwan Lee is an Associate Professor of Engineering and Assistant Professor of Brain Science at Brown University. He leads the Lee Lab for Biomedical Optics and Neuroengineering, focusing on medical photonics, neural engineering, and artificial intelligence. His research integrates advanced imaging techniques with AI to address clinical challenges in neuroengineering and biomedical diagnostics.
Dr. Lee holds a BS and PhD in Physics and Neural Engineering from Seoul National University. He previously worked at Harvard Medical School as an instructor and postdoctoral fellow. His honors include the NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award.
