Dr. Jonathan Y. Tsou is a Professor of Philosophy and the Marvin and Kathleen Stone Distinguished Professor of Humanities in Medicine and Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), where he directs the Center for Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (2008) and has previously served as a professor at Iowa State University (2009–2022). His research focuses on philosophy of science, psychiatry, and technology, with notable contributions to debates on psychiatric classification, natural kinds, and the history of 20th-century philosophy of science (e.g., Carnap, Kuhn, Quine). Tsou has authored/co-authored books such as *Philosophy of Psychiatry* (2021) and co-edited volumes including *Technology Ethics* (2023). He is a Fellow of the Philosophy of Science Association and actively contributes to professional organizations like the Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry (AAPP).
