Jonathan Stokes

Jonathan Stokes is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester's Division of Population Health, Health Services Research & Primary Care. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (2016) from the University of Manchester, a Master of Public Health (2013) from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh (2011). His research focuses on health system evaluation, particularly integrated care models for multimorbidity and policy implications of health economics. He leads an MRC Skills Development Fellowship on advancing health policy through economic analysis. Stokes has contributed to international projects like the Horizon2020 SELFIE initiative and published extensively on healthcare financing, chronic disease management, and health system reforms. His work emphasizes cross-national comparisons and improving care for complex patient groups.
