Jonathan Solomon

Jonathan Solomon is a Professor of Architecture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and partner in the firm Preservation Futures. He holds an MArch from Princeton University (2003) and a BA from Columbia University (2000). His work bridges adaptive reuse design, preservation consultation, and scholarship, with international recognition in venues like the Venice Architecture Biennale and exhibitions at M+ Hong Kong and the São Paulo Biennale. Solomon’s research explores themes such as urban ecology, technology, and migration through architectural frameworks.
