Jonathan Shailor

Dr. Jonathan Shailor is a Professor in the Communication Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He directs the Certificate Program in Conflict Analysis & Resolution and leads The Shakespeare Prison Project. His research focuses on language and social interaction, emphasizing storytelling, dialogue, and performance as tools for personal and social transformation.

Research interests center on applied communication strategies for conflict resolution, community engagement through theatrical performance, and the pedagogical use of Shakespeare in restorative justice contexts.
