Jonathan Proctor is an Assistant Professor in Food and Resource Economics at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He holds a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics from UC Berkeley (2019) and was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard's Data Science Initiative and Center for the Environment. His research focuses on environmental and socio-economic systems, leveraging remote sensing, machine learning, and climate science to assess anthropogenic impacts on agriculture and human systems.
