Jonathan Marotta

Jonathan Marotta is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Manitoba and Lab Director of the Perception and Action Lab. His work bridges vision science, cognitive neuroscience, and neuropsychology, focusing on how visual systems enable object recognition and action control.

Research Interests: Dr. Marotta investigates the functional architecture of visual perception and the visuomotor control of actions. His lab employs advanced 3D visuomotor paradigms, fMRI, neuropsychological studies, and psychophysical methods to explore how sensory information transforms into perception and motor behavior.
