Jonathan Marks

Jonathan Marks is the director of the Bioethics Program at Penn State University and affiliate faculty at Penn State Law and the School of International Affairs. He holds a Greenwall Fellowship and previously served as the Edmond J. Safra Faculty Fellow in Ethics at Harvard University (2009-2015). His work bridges human rights law, bioethics, and public health policy.

Research interests include medical ethics, institutional corruption, pharmaceutical regulation, privacy, and the ethical implications of detention centers like Guantanamo Bay.
