Jonathan Keeble is a Professor of Flute and Chair of Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, housed within the College of Fine and Applied Arts. He holds a BMA from Northwestern University and advanced degrees (MM, DMA, and Performer's Certificate) from the Eastman School of Music. Keeble is a distinguished performer and pedagogue, renowned for his rich tonal palette and advocacy of new music. He serves as Principal Flute of Sinfonia da Camera and has performed with major orchestras like the Chicago Symphony. His recordings include Voyage, Song of the Black Swan, and icarus, praised for virtuosic execution and artistic depth.
