Jonathan Gill

Jonathan Gill, PhD is an Instructor in the Department of English and Languages at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS), joining the faculty in 2024. He holds a PhD from the University of Auckland (2023), an MA from the University of Leeds, and a BA from Shimer College.

Research Interests: Jonathan’s research focuses on Medieval Literature, Early Modern Literature, Shakespearean studies, and Romantic British Literature. His work bridges historical analysis with contemporary literary interpretations.

Teaching Assignments: He currently teaches ENGL 105 (English Composition I), ENGL 105L (English Composition Practicum), and ENGL 205 (Survey of British Literature I).
