Jonathan D. Aronson

Jonathan D. Aronson is a Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and a Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, University of Southern California. He specializes in international communication policy, governance, and the intersection of technology innovation with global trade. His research explores disruption in information markets, regulatory frameworks, and geopolitical negotiations.

Education: BA from Harvard University, PhD from Stanford University. Honors include an honorary doctorate from St. Petersburg State University, leadership roles in APSIA, and membership in the Council on Foreign Relations. He previously directed the School of International Relations and served on the Social Science Research Council board.
