Jonathan Clark

Dr. Jonathan Clark is an Associate Professor of Management at the Alvarez College of Business, University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He joined UTSA in 2015 after serving at Penn State University for five years, including as Executive Director of the Master of Health Administration program. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Health Policy/Management from Harvard Business School, an M.S. from the Harvard School of Public Health, and a B.A. in Economics from Boston College.

Clark’s research focuses on strategic leadership, organizational learning, and healthcare management. He examines how leaders create environments that maximize collective performance, particularly in healthcare settings. His work explores topics like organizational structure, leadership rhetoric, patient experience, and governance dynamics in hospitals.
