Dr Jonathan Brewer is a Visiting Professor at King's College London's Department of War Studies, affiliated with the Centre for Science & Security Studies. He previously served in the UK's HM Diplomatic Service (1983–2010), holding roles including Head of Counter-Proliferation and Secretary to the Joint Intelligence Committee. His research focuses on UN sanctions implementation, WMD proliferation financing, and FATF requirements. He holds a PhD from Cornell University (1981) and a BA from the University of Oxford (1977).
