Jonathan Boyd is a Lecturer at the Royal College of Art (RCA), specialising in conceptual jewellery and interdisciplinary art. His research explores the relationship between language, objects, and material culture, employing both digital and analogue methods. Previously, he was a Lecturer at the Glasgow School of Art (GSA) for nine years. Boyd’s works are held in major institutions like the Victoria and Albert Museum and Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He has received numerous awards, including the 2017 Best New Design from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths and the 2013 Beijing International Metalwork Exhibition Prize.
