Jonathan Beecher Field is an Associate Professor of English at Clemson University's College of Arts and Humanities. His research focuses on Early American Literature, Settler Colonialism, and Infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of dissent, power, and transatlantic discourse.
